Hey guys - just wanted to post the rubix cube invite on this new site!

Do you own neon Orange socks? A Green shirt? A Blue hat? Yellow bangle bracelets?
Does your closet resemble a Rubik’s Cube?
On THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 2008 at the New Media Social, those Rubik’s Cube colours will finally get to step out of the closet!
Wear your brightly coloured shirts, socks, shoes, jewelry, bandanas, hats and sunglasses to our
New Media RUBIK’s CUBE SHUFFLE.
WHERE?
At 8pm on Thursday, Sept. 25th at the RAM and the RYE the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year New Media classes of Ryerson '08-'09 (and alumni if they'd like to join in) will become a human Rubik’s Cube for the first time ever!
WHAT?
Swapping our shirts, sweaters, socks, headbands, shoes, and accessories of all different colours in a furry of New Media students. The winner with the closest matching coloured outfit will receive a prize (TBA) courtesy of the 4th Year New Media Curatorial Group.
Disclaimer:
1 – The winning outfit must be composed of at least 3 items of similar colour, 2 of which must not have been on the participant to begin with, ie. they must be originally worn by another participant and traded during the shuffle.
2 -Trading will not be permitted prior to 9pm and all contestants will have 1 hour to complete their outfits, permitting time to talk to your trading partners, plan other attacks, and perhaps even change your final colour scheme!
3 – Participants will be responsible for collecting their own clothing from other participants at the end of the event.
WARNING: PANTS TRADING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THIS VERSION OF RUBIK’s CUBE SHUFFLE – please wear Jeans, which will be the common factor amongst all Rubik’s Cube Shuffle participants.
HINT*: Visit your local second hand store to find cheap, bright and colourful clothing that will be easy to swap with others!
